CIMB Niaga Sekuritas Acts as Lead Advisor to Danantara Asset Management in a Strategic Initiative on SOE Asset Management Consolidation

CIMB Niaga Sekuritas is pleased to announce its role as the lead advisor to PT Danantara Asset Management (DAM) —the operational holding entity of BPI Danantara Indonesia, the country’s sovereign wealth fund— in a strategic initiative to strengthen and consolidate state-owned enterprise (SOE) asset management companies in Indonesia.
On 1 April 2026, DAM executed conditional share purchase agreements for the acquisition of four SOE asset management companies, namely PT Mandiri Manajemen Investasi, PT BRI Manajemen Investasi, PT BNI Asset Management, and PT PNM Investment Management.
This key milestone forms part of DAM’s broader mandate aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies, strengthen institutional synergies, and establish a world-class, scalable asset management platform in Indonesia.
Following the completion of these acquisitions and the subsequent consolidation, this initiative is expected to support the government’s agenda to drive Indonesia’s sustainable economic growth, expand financial inclusion, bolster the domestic investment ecosystem, and promote long-term wealth creation.
